Speaker Bios

Rob Bistline is a Vice President with HNTB Corporation.  He received his Bachelor’s Degree and completed graduate studies at the Pennsylvania State University.  He has more than 25 years of experience in the transportation industry including time spent in both the public and private sectors.  Throughout his career, Mr. Bistline has been responsible for the delivery of major, multi-disciplinary transportation projects, including his latest assignment serving as the Program Manager for the conversion of the Pennsylvania Turnpike to Cashless Tolling.     

Mahmood Shehata is a Manager of Transportation with RK&K in King of Prussia. Through this role, he is leading RK&K’s traffic engineering and ITS services in Pennsylvania.  A large focus of his sixteen year career has been the development, evaluation and implementation of congestion management projects for freeways and arterial roadways, through both more traditional roadway infrastructure improvements and technological improvements such as ITS and Active Traffic management. His experience includes all facets of project development, from initial planning and feasibility studies through construction support.  He is a board member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers, Mid-Atlantic Section (MASITE).

Brian Keaveney is an Associate Vice President and Manager of the Transportation Division in Pennoni’s King of Prussia, Pa office. His project experience involves Traffic Operations and Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) planning and implementation. Brian has a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and Master’s degree in Transportation Engineering, both from Villanova University, and he currently serves on the Board of Directors of ITSPA.
