Larson Transportation Institute at Penn State appoints new proposal and awards Generalist

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Thomas D. Larson Pennsylvania Transportation Institute at Penn State has recently appointed Syreeta Anderson as proposal and awards generalist.

Reporting to Frank Butts, business manager, Anderson’s primary responsibilities include review, analysis and processing of proposals, contracts and grants from various federal, state, local agencies and private corporations and foundations. Prior to joining Penn State, Anderson maintained the Office of Strategic Positioning for the United Planning Organization in Washington, D.C. Her responsibilities included compiling research and planning documents and providing guidance to the Quality Assurance Division.

Anderson received her Bachelor of Arts in media studies and communications arts and sciences from The Pennsylvania State University and her MBA in human resources management from Webster Graduate School.
