21st Century Automotive Challege set for May 17-20

The Challenge will feature a range of vehicles and vehicle technologiesThe Larson Institute’s Hybrid and Hydrogen Vehicle Research Laboratory will host the 21st Century Automotive Challenge at Penn State on May 17-20. Participating vehicles will represent a broad range of automotive power choices, such as electric, solar electric, hybrid, pluggable hybrid, fuel cell, and alternative fuel. On Saturday, May 19, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., participating vehicles will be on display at the MorningStar Solar Home, located on Porter Road between Park Avenue and College Avenue. Visitors will have an opportunity to ask questions and talk with competition participants during the display event.
